Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Torvecta collects, why, and who it is shared with. Torvecta is in early access; this policy will be updated as the product and its billing evolve.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase -- we never see or store your password in plain text). Product data: the companies you add to your Dashboard, the investment thesis notes and priorities you write, and the assessments Torvecta generates for you. Usage data: anonymized, aggregated page-traffic statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, with no advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
To generate your daily briefing: your tracked companies and thesis notes are sent to AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter) to produce the analysis you receive. To deliver that briefing: your email address is passed to our email provider, Resend, to send it. To keep the product working and improving it: aggregate, anonymized usage statistics only.
Torvecta never sells your data, and never uses your portfolio data for advertising.
Who we share it with
Sub-processors, each acting only on Torvecta's instructions to provide the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and scheduled jobs), Resend (email delivery), Google Gemini, Groq, and OpenRouter (AI analysis), and market data providers used to source company financials and news. If and when paid subscriptions go live, Stripe will process payment information directly -- Torvecta itself never sees or stores your card details.
Data isolation
Your portfolio data -- companies tracked, thesis notes, generated assessments -- is isolated per account and never shared with, or visible to, another user.
Data retention
We keep your account and product data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, this data is removed as described in Your rights below. We do not currently run an automatic deletion timer for active accounts.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing info@torvecta.com. Deleting your account removes your tracked companies, thesis notes, and generated assessments.
Cookies
Torvecta sets only the session cookie required to keep you signed in. Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies of its own. Torvecta does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
